Funeral program FAQ

What is a funeral program?

A printed handout for the service. It shows the order of service and a photo, and often a short life story, a poem or scripture and the names of pallbearers. Guests follow along during the service and keep it afterwards.

What size is the program?

One US Letter sheet (11 × 8.5 in), printed on both sides and folded in half. Each of the four pages is 5.5 × 8.5 in. The memorial card is 5 × 7 in.

Can I try it before I pay?

Yes. Designing, editing and checking the proof are free. You pay $19 only when you’re ready to download the PDF.

Do I need an account?

No. There’s no account and no subscription: you pay $19 once, by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, and we email you the download and edit links.

Can I fix a mistake after I’ve paid?

Yes. You get an email with a link to edit your program. Changes are free for 14 days, and you can download your PDFs for 3 months.

How many photos can I add?

One on the cover, plus a gallery of up to 6 photos in the program or 4 on the card.

Can you help with the wording?

Yes. Pick a poem or scripture passage from the built-in library, and start the order of service from a preset for a Christian funeral, a Catholic funeral Mass, a celebration of life or a graveside service. You can change every word.

Where can I print it?

On any home printer that prints on both sides, or at a copy shop such as Staples, FedEx Office or Office Depot. You get three PDFs: one with a white border for home printers, one full bleed, and one with crop marks for a print shop. A short printing guide is included. Print as many copies as you need; there’s no per-copy fee.

What paper should I use?

For the program, 32 lb matte paper at home, or 80 lb text paper at a copy shop. For the card, matte cardstock (80 to 110 lb cover).

Do you print and mail the programs?

No. You download the PDF and print it yourself, at home or at a copy shop.
