Gregory Keith Schroer was born on July 28, 1956, in Evansville, Indiana. Gregory attended Bosse High School before joining the United States Navy, where he would spend four years fighting in Vietnam. He went on to pursue a career as a truck driver, spending years on the road and building a life through his hard work and dedication. He was passionate about musical instruments and loved tinkering with things. Whether it was antique clocks or bicycles, he could always find something that needed fixing. Family and friends will remember Gregory for his goofy personality, his strong faith in Jesus, and his devotion to doing what was best for others. Some of his most cherished memories included attending Isaac's basketball games, traveling with family, and spending time with people he loved the most. Above all, Gregory valued his faith and was never afraid to spread the gospel, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and the determination to never give up.
Gregory was preceded in death by his parents, Mildred Schroer and VerWayne Schroer; his brothers, Mark Schroer and Ricky Lee Schroer; his sister, Linda Sue Schroer; his son, Nathan Schroer; his twin daughters, Ava and Gretta Schroer; and his beloved dog, Cora.
