Charles McNutt Charlie
March 11, 1946 – September 19, 2026
Charles McNutt passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 19, 2026, surrounded by the love and memories of those who meant the most to him. Charlie was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He dedicated his professional life to the Aerospace and Defense industry, where he worked from 1966 until his retirement in 2014. Throughout his long career, he was known for his dedication, hard work, and commitment to the people around him. Charlie’s greatest contributions extended far beyond his career. Much of his time outside of work was devoted to volunteering with the Optimist Club in Arlington, Texas. There, he poured his time and energy into helping young athletes grow, compete, and thrive. Above all, Charlie cherished his family and treasured the time he spent with them. His family was truly the center of his life, and he took immense pride in watching his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren grow. His grandchildren, Lauren, Morgan, and Josie, held a special place in his heart, and becoming a great-grandfather brought him an even greater joy and a new generation to love.
Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, Faye Dean McNutt and Delbert McNutt; his brother, Kenneth McNutt; and his stepson, Ryan Massingill.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Betty Johnson McNutt; his children, Curtis McNutt, Stacy McNutt Strain, and Chad McNutt; his stepson, Nathan Massingill; his grandchildren, Lauren, Morgan, and Josie; and his great-grandchildren, Sawyer and Augi.
Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 3, 2026, 2:00 pm Board Babtist Church 2870 County Road 304 Comanche, TX 76442
