We celebrate the life of
Bruce Creamer "Big Bruce"
8/26/55 – 5/4/26
Bruce Thomas Creamer, age 70, passed away on May 4, 2026, at his home in Barrington, RI. Born and raised in Grove City, OH, Bruce was a proud graduate of Grove City High School. After graduation, Bruce went on to have a long and dedicated career with Columbia Gas Company, where he retired after several decades of service. Known for his generosity, humor, and kindhearted nature, Bruce was truly the type of person to give the shirt off his back - often generous to the point of sacrifice. His quick wit and big heart brought joy and laughter to those around him, earning him the nickname "Big Bruce," as he was affectionately known by loved ones across the country. A dedicated Ohio State football and basketball fan, Bruce could often be found passionately cheering on the Buckeyes. In his spare time, Bruce was passionate about music, world history and most of all, spending time with his best friend and wife of 51 years, Vicki.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Martha Creamer, his sister, Debbie Creamer and his beloved canine companions - Peanut, Jessie and Bubba.
Bruce is survived by his loving wife, Vicki; his two children, Sarah Bates (Bryan) and Andy Creamer (Javi); his brother, Don Creamer (Janet); his niece and nephew, Lacy (Scott) Pittenger and Derek (Anna), and great nieces and nephew, Lyla, Bailey, Hailey and Davis.
Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. at Barrington Congregational Church ("White Church") located at 461 County Rd., Barrington, RI 02806.
