I can't find the exact set of words to describe the kind of man you were ...one of the very different kind of human being whose life reflected love , kindness, simplicity and empathy., a real human being full of love

In a world where arrogance , self serving and showiness is the language among men with means ,you lived differently, meek, friendly , available to even the downtrodden....

You played a big part in my life and those of my family (my mom and my sister) , you gave us the platform to bridge the gaps created by distance, you will drive down to my village just to inform us of my mother's scheduled phone call at your place and you will stay home just to have us honour appointment ....you inconvenienced yourself for us without expecting a reward ...how selfless a man you were
A man who left his doors open for anyone who cares to come in, you opened the windows of your heart that people can see and breathe life and goodness...and because you did all that , God will open the doors and windows of heaven for you and treat you like saint that you truly are

Today , as we have gathered to lay your body to rest...we do it with mix emotions , one of sadness that a good and an irreplaceable man is gone , but for the greater reason ,we celebrate you because you lived well and we are certain that the lord will grant your soul the peace it earned and deserved , you shall forever be remembered for all that did and represented

Papa Mbaise Road as we fondly call you ,my Mom ,Mama Chicago asked that we tell you how grateful she is with all that you did and how sad and sorry she is too , my elder sister and I also wishes you well as you journey to be with the Lord .

We pray God to console the family you left behind ,your loving wife and children and all those who share in the grief of your passing ...

And we say , it is well with you soul Sir... Amen

FAREWELL TRIBUTE TO A DISTINGUISHED PATRIARCH, SIR JUSTUS CHIJIOKE OSUJI, KSC

With a heart heavy yet full of reverence, I write this tribute in honour of a man whose earthly journey was marked by dignity, and unshakable values, Sir Justus Chijioke Osuji, KSC, the beloved father of my bosom friend, Mr. Kelechi Osuji.

The passage of a great man is never a silent moment, it echoes deeply in the hearts of all who were touched by his life. Sir Justus was not merely a man of title, but a man of truth, tested principles, and timeless virtues. A Knight of the Church, a community elder, and a devoted father, he embodied what it means to live a life of honour.

His service to God and humanity was evident in the grace with which he carried his knighthood, and in the wisdom he dispensed within his family and community. He was a man whose presence commanded respect and whose words inspired reflection. His was a life not defined by wealth, but by worth not by position, but by purpose.

I am particularly moved because in knowing his son, Kelechi, I have witnessed the living reflection of his father’s legacy: strength anchored in humility, excellence clothed in simplicity, and a heart firmly rooted in family and faith. Truly, Sir Justus did not just raise a son he raised a standard.

On behalf of my family and the entire traditional institution of Ishienu Amofu Nkerefi, I extend my deepest condolences to the Osuji family. The loss is profound, but so also is the legacy left behind one that generations will draw strength from.

May the soul of this gallant knight, this noble elder, and this faithful servant of God find eternal rest in the bosom of our Lord, where pain is no more, and joy knows no end.

Rest well, Sir Justus Chijioke Osuji, KSC. You have fought a good fight, kept the faith, and finished the race in honour.

    HRH; Igwe Michael Christian Ogbonnaya
    Traditional Ruler, Ishienu Amofu Nkerefi

Ndaa Justus was a true, honest and of good report to me; an all round "correct person" by his visibility as a loyal father. He was transparently honest in a society where dishonesty has become a badge of honour. I remembered how you used to monitor and guide Arthur and myself at Wole Madariola street and Oshogbo street in Surulere.
Life is a happenstance. You will be missed by all who came very close to you.
May your soul find rest in the bosom of the Lord.
    Marshall Egere(Arthur's friend).
