Robert Leroy Taylor, Panama city, Florida

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3:5-6

I went to a garden party To reminisce with my old friends A chance to share old memories and play our songs again. When I got to the garden party They all knew my name No one recognized me I didn't look the same. But it's all right now I learned my lesson well You see you can't please everyone So, you got to please yourself. --Garden Party--Ricky nelson

With a heavy heart we say goodbye to our father, Robert Taylor. He fought a good fight and now it's time for him to rest with the Lord. We will definitely miss him but we know we will see him again some day. He gave 60 years of his blood, sweat and tears while serving his country in the USAF, 20 years Active Duty and 40 years Civil Service at Tyndall AFB. He was a devoted and loving Father to 2 children. Alan Robert Taylor, Julie Ann Allen. And 7 grandchildren. He was a nature lover and enjoyed the outdoors spending time feeding his critters, on his animal sanctuary he made for them on his property. His favorite song was "Travelin man " by Ricky Nelson and now he has made his final destination to be with the Lord. Goodbye Travelin man. You have made a lot of stops and touched a lot of lives along the way. We love you and will miss you ! Rest, you deserve it.

The Celebration of life get together will take place Saturday March 14th from 2:00 pm- 5:00 pm at the Veterans park at 5916 Cherry St. Panama city Florida

There will be fellowship and a time of remembrance for anyone who would like to say a few words. The Tyndall AFB Honor Guard will be presenting the flag, taps will be played and a firing of the volleys at 5:00 pm to finish out the afternoon.
