A Shoulder to Many, A Blessing to All
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” — 2 Timothy 4:7
Surrounded by family and love, we honor the life of
Bolade Falade Bola the Baller Jesusbaby
July 3, 1987 – May 4, 2026
In Loving Memory of Bolade Falade On May 4th, 2026, at 8:30am, we lost a truly remarkable soul, Bolade Falade, a beloved sister, a devoted worshipper of God, and a woman whose love for people knew no bounds. Bolade was a shoulder to lean on for so many. She carried a quiet strength and a compassionate heart, always ready to listen, support, and uplift those around her. Her life was a reflection of her faith—she lived with grace, kindness, and a deep sense of purpose. She had a special passion for children, caring for them with tenderness and joy. Her love left lasting impressions on young hearts, and her influence will continue to be felt in the lives she touched. She was deeply loved by family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. The impact she made cannot be measured—it lives on in every life she encouraged and every heart she comforted. Bolade passed surrounded by her loved ones, embraced by the same love she so freely gave throughout her life. Though our hearts are heavy, we hold on to the beautiful memories she gave us. Her spirit, her faith, and her love will remain with us always. Forever loved. Forever missed.
The family takes comfort in knowing Bolade is reunited with her beloved maternal grandmother who passed before.
Dad, Mum, Brother, Sisters, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Aunts, and Uncles
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, 6th May, at 11am at Oke Oyi Cemetery, Kwara State, Nigeria. Family and friends are welcome to attend.
In Bolade's honor, the family encourages friends to check on and spend time with loved ones, share a meal, or help someone in need.
The family thanks relatives, friends, neighbors, and the church of God for their prayers, visits, and support.
You may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts. We love you always.

How do you challenge God for how He decides to deal with us . This is a very sad situation to swallow but it’s the knowing of the Lord . We join you in lifting praises to the King. Your beautiful sister has gone to a more peaceful place of rest . Be courageous and encouraged. Am sure that’s what she will want from you now . May God give you and your family unmatched peace . My sincere condolences.

A Tribute to My Dear Sister.
Your Dear Gbenga finds it hard to say goodnight, My Dear Sister, till the resurrection morning.
You only said, “I thought I’d say hello,” and never replied again. I never knew that would be the last time I would hear from you. That silence has left a space words cannot fill.
Even while you knew I was at work, you still checked on me, sent me money, and said, “Manage it, àbúrò mi.” How could I ever forget such love and care?
How could I forget those beautiful moments with Grandma?
The memories will remain fresh in my heart.Thank you for the love you showed me right from those days at Sobi in Ilorin. You stood by me in ways I will never forget.
I still struggle to accept that you have gone just like that. It feels sudden, unreal, and deeply painful.
I hope you are resting peacefully now, reunited with our Dear Grandma. That thought brings a little comfort to my heart.
Thank God you knew Jesus, that is my greatest consolation in all this. It gives me hope that this is not the end, but a temporary separation.
Rest on, My Dear Sister, till the resurrection morning.
You will forever remain in my heart.
Love,
Your Dear Brother, Gbenga. -

Abolade mi , I couldn’t sleep all night, my mind kept replaying every moment we shared the laughter, the conversations, the memories that now feel even more precious. It hurts deeply knowing that we won’t see each other again, and that this goodbye came far too soon.
You were more than a friend to me, you were a light, a beautiful soul who made life softer and brighter just by being in it. I’m grateful for every single moment we had, even though my heart aches wishing there could have been more.
I pray that God grants you eternal rest, forgives your shortcomings, and surrounds you with peace beyond this world. May your soul find comfort, and may heaven welcome you with open arms.
You will always live on in my heart. Rest well, my dear. ️

To know Bola was to encounter warmth in human form.
She was love and light.
Peace and calm.
Wisdom and grace.
Beauty and poise.
Sweetness and warmth.
Laughter and joy. Some people enter a room loudly. Bola entered gently, yet somehow left her softness on everyone she met. There was a quiet beauty to the way she existed in the world. The kind that made people feel seen, safe, and cared for.
She was a friend. A true one.
And that kind of presence is not easily forgotten.Babie, I love you.
And I am deeply grateful that I encountered you on my journey through life. Knowing you was a gift. Loving you was easy. And the memories of you will always live tenderly in my heart. My heartfelt condolences to everyone grieving this painful loss. May her beautiful soul rest peacefully, and may all who loved her find strength, comfort, and light in the memories she leaves behind. ️

Bolade was a joy giver! Bolade has carried her enviable smile to heaven! Her smile lightened up any place she got to! Bolade was a lovely of God and children. She treated children like they were her very own! I remember a time she came to ours at Essex and I was down and that day was my son's birthday.... she handled everything and put a smile on that young boy's face when I couldn't get up to do anything!
I believe you slept in God and with God right now, giving us that same smile, eventhough we cannot see this smile, saying if only they knew
I prefer it here.....GOODNIGHT EVER SERVING BOLADE! We love you but your Maker prefers it like this!

The one who welcomed me into the Alto department when I newly joined the choir back in CAC was Sister Bolade. She was such a loving person, and I admired her sense of fashion and the calm, warm aura she carried.
Fast forward to years later, during a difficult personal time in my life, she was the one person I could comfortably talk to and share my story with. That was the kind of person she was—kind, approachable, and deeply caring.
It is truly painful that she’s gone so soon, but God knows best. I will miss you so much.
Goodnight, Sister Bolade. Rest in the bosom of the Almighty.

I was heartbroken to hear about the loss of your sister. She was such a beautiful soul — full of light, strength, and love. I’ll always remember her warm smile, her kind heart, and the way she made everyone around her feel seen and cared for. She leaves behind so many precious memories and a legacy of love that will continue to live on through you and everyone whose life she touched.
Losing a sister means losing someone who shared your deepest roots and your most treasured stories. I know no words can ease the pain you’re feeling right now, but please know you’re not alone in this. I’m here for you — to listen, to remember her with you, or simply to sit with you in silence whenever you need.
May you find comfort in the love she gave and the beautiful bond you shared. She will always be a part of you.
Sending you the gentlest hugs and all my love during this incredibly difficult time.
With deepest sympathy,
Balogun -

Abolade Afolakemi Falade… a rare gem and a beautiful soul.
A devoted lover of Christ, whose life reflects grace, faith, and unwavering trust in God.
You are the kind of friend everyone prays to have — the one who carries people’s burdens as though they were your own, never complaining, always showing up with love and strength. Your heart for others is pure, your kindness intentional, and your presence comforting.
A true lover of children, gentle and caring, with a spirit that draws people close. You are down to earth, yet full of vision and purpose. A fashionista with style and confidence, and a goal-getter who goes after her dreams with courage and determination.
You don’t just dream — you help others see vision too. You inspire, you uplift, and you remind us all that greatness is possible with God.
I celebrate you today and always. Your life is a blessing, and your friendship is a gift I will forever cherish.
I will miss you and I will fulfil all righteousness (this I promise)

Bolade!!! It took me some time to get to write this! But here I am. From the first day in 2010 that I met you and i approached you. My first statement was “I love your brow and you are so beautiful” and I would like to be your friend. Always so funny how we instantly connected and became this unbreakable pair! Everyone who knew me, knew Bolade. You were not just a friend but a sister. You were my daily gist partner. On the phone, you went with me to every doctor visit, ante natal, delivery, shopping. You pick colors, you suggest what I should wear to every event. You were my very very close friend and sister. I am grateful that we never allowed distance and life in general to be a barrier between us. We gist every time on d way to work, we don’t get tired. We pray together, it never felt like I have not seen you in 10yrs because you were always a call away until this year that it all stopped. And I miss that very much.
You were a light to everyone that came around you.
Thank you for not just being a friend, you were even closer to me than a sister!
I wish I wasn’t so many miles away in your last moments on this side. I wish I had a chance to speak to you a few more times.
I am taking solace in all the videos you have shared with me! Where you were deciding on an outfit, trying a new food, went to choir practice, braiding your hair and so many more.July 3rd is almost here ooo, and we would have started planning the outfit for your birthday and all. My fashionista girl!
A part of me is hoping we are all still dreaming. But meeeehn, I will miss you greatly! I have sent you reels of how friends grow old together and hoped that will be us in Paris! Living life, being very successful enjoying vacation every where.
I know you have gone to rest my dear friend from all life pain. And this is the hardest part for me to write; “May your soul keep resting in peace”

Still can't believe you are no more. Today, I remember my dear course mate, Falade Bolade, with a heart full of gratitude and sadness. We shared not just the same university walls, but beautiful moments of friendship, laughter, learning, and support that will forever remain unforgettable.
Bolade was such a loving soul, always full of life, kindness, and warmth. She had a beautiful way of making everyone around her feel comfortable and valued. Her smile could light up any room, and her cheerful spirit brought joy even during stressful times in school.
I will always cherish the memories we shared together — the lectures, group discussions, campus moments, jokes, and the little conversations that made university life special. She was caring, supportive, and genuinely happy to see others succeed. Bolade was the kind of friend who checked on people, encouraged them, and stood by them when they needed comfort.
Her energy, laughter, and good heart made a lasting impact on everyone who knew her. Though she is gone, the beautiful memories of her love, kindness, and vibrant spirit will never fade.
Rest peacefully, dear Bolade. You will always be remembered, deeply missed, and forever loved.

Abolade Falade, a great pillar has fallen.
I still remember when we met at Grimsby city centre last year. I called out to you from among the crowd, and immediately you came over and embraced me warmly. That moment meant more to me than you could ever imagine. I had just survived a painful experience of racism within the system, and your simple act of love and acceptance restored my strength and brought me back to myself. I will never forget that day.
Abolade, you were not only kind to me, but to everyone who encountered you. You lived a life of compassion and selflessness. The less privileged found help in you, and Tosin’s child will forever remain a testimony of your kindness after losing her mother just days after birth. Your life was marked by uncommon love, and anyone who truly desires to live a life of impact must learn from your footsteps.
Your relationship with people was exceptional. Your smile lit up every lecture room, and your voice was always heard when it mattered most. Death may think it has taken you away from us, but little does death know that you will continue to live on in our hearts.
Though you are no longer with us physically, your memories, kindness, and impact remain alive within us. The good news is that death is not the end for the righteous, but a passage into eternal life. That is the victory before you now.
Sleep on, Abolade, until we meet again to part no more.
