Avis de décès Connie Sue Hagler Jones

In loving memory

“Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from him.” — Psalm 62:5 “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” — John 14:27 (KJV) Connie preserved words from this Scripture among her handwritten notes, leaving her family a tender reminder of the peace she sought in Christ.

With love, we remember and honor the life of

Connie Sue Hagler Jones Beloved wife, mother, “Granny,” and friend

June 28, 1964 – June 28, 2026

Connie’s Christian faith was reflected in her extraordinary generosity. She supported many Christian organizations, Camp Deer Run, and relief efforts following the flooding in Kerrville, Texas. Her compassion reached beyond her own family to people and communities in need. Connie had a curious mind and a love of learning, science, music, and nature. She studied at Harding University, worked in systems engineering and business analysis, and owned CSX Global. A gifted artist, she painted alongside Wyland and created artwork her family will cherish. She also participated in the MS 150. Her journals offer a treasured glimpse into her heart and faith. She wrote honestly to God about the suffering she saw in the world, recorded Scripture, and kept reminders of kindness and trust in Him. These pages leave her family a lasting connection to her thoughts, her compassion, and the faith that inspired her generosity. Connie’s journals reveal her thoughtful faith and concern for others. Alongside Scripture and personal prayers, she collected reminders to choose kindness and bring joy to someone each day. Her generosity reflected those values, leaving a lasting impression on the people and causes she supported. Among her favorite phrases was: “Every day—do a good deed that will put a smile of joy on someone’s face.” — Dale Carnegie, as recorded in Connie’s journal

Connie was preceded in death by her mother, Viola Christine Smith Hagler; her father, David Eugene Hagler; and her paternal grandparents, Donald Hagler and Dorothy Woodward.

She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Jones; her children, Christopher Blake, Cassandra Connor, and Tiffany Koch; and her grandchildren, Patricia Koch, William Koch, Ashton Blake, Angelina Koch, and Cameron Blake.

A private celebration of life will be held in her honor.

Those wishing to honor Connie’s memory may make a donation to Camp Deer Run, a ministry she generously supported during her life.

Our family is grateful for your prayers, kindness, and love as we remember Connie.

Forever loved and held close in our hearts.

Mom, thank you for being the most wonderful, kind, loving, and generous mother. I am so grateful to be your daughter. Your love and the countless ways you gave of yourself will stay with me always. I miss you more than words can say, and I will carry you in my heart for the rest of my life.

    I love you always,
    Tiffany

    Psalm 23 (KJV)

“The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.“

Granny, my favorite memories with you are going on the cruise and going to New York. I loved looking at coins and other things with you. I remember the special coin you gave me. You always told me you loved me, and I love you too. You were a great Granny. I miss you so much.

    Love,
    William
