Suzan "Suz" Strohecker, Lewisberry, PA

Don't cry because it's over, smile because she was beautiful.

Deeply shaken, infinitely sad, stunned, but also grateful, we say goodbye to

Suzan "Suz" Strohecker

October 11, 1963February 08, 2026

Suzan Michelle “Suz” Strohecker, 62, of Lewisberry Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully February 8, 2026 in Harrisburg Hospital. Born in Harrisburg in October 11, 1963 she grew up in Enola graduating from East Pennsboro High School in 1981. Throughout her life, she held many occupations. Being most proud of was being a chef in Bermuda likely seconded by being a bartender among her friends where she started lifelong relationships. She loved motorcycles (specifically Harley Davidsons), pigs, horror movies, cooking, sewing/crocheting, and gardening. Her laughter was contagious and she had a huge sense of adventure. It is even said that she even belonged to a women’s biker group. She never hesitated to lend a helping hand to someone in need. A trait that she unknowingly passed down to her son, Michael, whom she was extremely proud of. She is survived by her son Michael Strohecker, extended family, and many friends which she considered her family. For they were not sisters by blood but sisters by heart. Many will miss her but she will live on through our hearts and memories. There will be a celebration of her life on May 23, 2026 at 2pm at 1105 Red Hill Road, Dauphin, PA 17018. Bring a chair, a covered dish, and swimming apparel.
