Avis de décès James Franklin Dill
Forever Loved, Never Forgotten
May loving memories bring comfort and peace.
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of
James Franklin Dill Unstoppable, untamed, with a free spirit and a heart drawn to adventure.
07/10/1988 – 10/25/2026
James was born in Arkansas City, Kansas, on July 10, 1988, to Kris and Paula Dill. He grew up along the Oklahoma-Kansas border in Newkirk, Oklahoma, and graduated with the Class of 2008. To call James a carpenter only scratches the surface of his many trades. He was a man of grit who believed in hard work, and his career was measured not by promotions or office titles, but by the calluses on his hands and the heart he poured into every job. That same hardworking, adventurous spirit led him to Billings, Montana, where he enjoyed the beautiful scenery and experienced ranch-hand life. He later built a life in Missouri and, in 2018, became the proud father of his sweet baby boy, Waylon Dean. James felt most at home outdoors—fishing, hunting, or gathering around a good fire with family and friends. Over the past three years, James has faced heart and kidney failure. During this difficult chapter, he returned home to Arkansas City.
Preceded in death by grandparents, Marshall & Doris Brentlinger, Sue Daily, Bob Dill & other beloved family members.
Survived by parents, Paula; Kris & Kathy; grandmother, Pat; son, Waylon; sisters, Ashly, Krystal, Heather, Tonya, & Paityn; brothers, Danny, Toby, & Kade; many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; and beloved fur baby, Sire.
Family and friends are invited to come together here soon in November to share cherished memories and celebrate James’s life. The date, time, and location will be announced once arrangements are finalized.
In James honor, the family encourages friends to spend time with loved ones, share a meal, or help someone in need.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all relatives, friends, and neighbors for their prayers, kindness, and loving support during this difficult time.
Forever in our hearts.
