Martin Douglas Kramer

"In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you."

Martin Douglas Kramer

April 16,1952April 3, 2026

Martin was born and raised in the Bellaire/Houston, Tx. area. He attended Strake Jesuit College Preparatory High School and upon graduating, enrolled at Texas A&M University at College Station, Tx. He became a member of the Army Core of Cadets and after convincing Lt. Colonel Adams to allow him to join the Fightin' Texas Aggie Marching Band he joined the band and became a drummer. He had never experienced playing in a marching band and had to do a lot of fast talking. This band has become the largest collegiate military marching band in the United States and he was extremely proud to be part of the legacy. He was the true Aggie that bragged about everything and everybody in Aggieland. After graduating from A&M he joined the United States Air Force Reserves and later got into excavating and construction. As time went on he began to experience several health issues which ultimately ended his time with us here on earth at his home in Lafayette, Louisiana. He will be greatly missed but thought of often. "Gig 'em!"
